In some cases it may not be possible to drive. In this event the centre has a wide range of outdoor wheelchairs, scooters and buggies. These can be tried out and we can also supply them. We give instruction in their use and how to carry out basic maintenance. Wheelchair and vehicle assessments can be arranged ( free of charge ) by referral from a therapist, a doctor or self-referral. It is important to ring first for an appointment. Maintenance and servicing is also available at the centre.
