In a unique partnership between the Cornwall Crafts Association and the National Trust, Trelissick Gallery was opened in 1988 at Trelissick Garden near Truro, one of the most popular gardens in Cornwall.

Trelissick Gallery

The gallery is housed in the 19th century barn set in 400 acres of
parkland, gardens and woods.

Trelissick gallery shows members’ work throughout the year.
In a county that is largely

rural with a beautiful and

dramatic coastline,

generations of

craftworkers, potters,

woodworkers, jewellers,

textile workers, and many

others have found a

sympathetic stimulating

environment for their work.

It is not surprising that the

crafts in Cornwall are an

essential part of the

economy promoting

individual enterprise and

educational opportunities.
